The workshop..is situated on site available for running repairs, upgrades or complete restorations and rebuilds for the extreme broads paddlers!

You can choose to have your canoe built to order in any colour and level of finnish including Metal Flake! So for once do it...! Leave the green and be seen in something beautiful....

Not only will you have something handmade ,you will have a hands on experience that at the end of it all will provide you with a very individual canoe.

The workshop started as a shop for early racing dinghys and vintage speed boats.

My love of beauty that floats started at birth. Born Poole, afloat at 3 months,
crewing at 2 yrs, varnishing at 5, rowing at 6, sailing and canoeing at 7, speed boats at 8 and a bit of school, well quite a lot really.

When it came to work this was all I wanted to do so after years of working for yards and different companies I decided to set it all up.

The workshop is open all year providing repair work on boats, canoes, in both fiberglass and wood.

Work in the past has also included wooden car bodies and furniture repairs.

So if you need repairs or finishing work done come along and have a chat, we can provide help in all areas including rigging, covers and upholstrey, boat transport and storage and have marine engineers on site providing outboard and inboard services.

The canoe being built to order at the moment is a 16 foot kevlar hull with sapele gunwales, ash and sapele breast hooks, ash seats and yoke.

The hull is white and with the contrasting timber finish will look fantastic.
